The new edition of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy is just a day away. If you’ve not yet secured your Saturnine box and your Libers, you can order them all here.

Alongside all the physical releases there will be a series of free PDFs to download over the coming months, adding a number of smaller factions to the game, as well as additional ways to play and other good stuff. The first of these is available to download right now.
Talons of the Emperor
With Libers released for five separate factions on launch, there’s been one omission: the Legio Custodes, Sisters of Silence and Imperial Agents who collectively make up the Talons of the Emperor.

That sixth Liber will arrive a little later – and our spies tell us that big things are afoot for the faction as a whole – but until then, there’s a free set of faction rules to download. This is a full army list that will allow you either to play the Talons as a full faction, or to recruit individual units (including Assassins) into your other Loyalist forces.
FAQ and errata
The new edition is joined by a short FAQ and errata document, which you can also download today.
Legacies of the Age of Darkness
The roster of units available to Horus Heresy generals will expand further in a few days’ time, when the Legacies of the Age of Darkness arrives as a free PDF download. This extensive document features the rules and points for dozens of classic units, updated for the new edition of the game.
Note: An incorrect version of the Talons of the Emperor document went live briefly without the “Anathema” special rule for Sisters of Silence. This has now been added. Thank you to those who let us know.
