Saturday Pre-orders – Death strikes from the skies in Kill Team: Shadowhunt

There are many terrifying things in Warhammer 40,000, but we reckon few things are quite as hair-raising as a homicidal Space Marine strapped to a jump pack, brandishing a flensing blade as they barrel down towards you from the sky. It’s enough to make anyone run, but not the Adepta Sororitas, who are made of sterner stuff than us here at Warhammer Community.

The Celestian Insidiants are usually tasked with hunting down dangerous psykers and witches across the galaxy, so they’re more than capable of standing their ground against the Murderwing in Kill Team: Shadowhunt, which splits the action across two floors of terrain. And for those that missed them, no doubt thanks to their sneaky habits, the XV26 Stealth Battlesuits and Wolf Scouts kill teams are also available again.

Kill Team: Shadowhunt

Descend into the gloomy world of Garranox with Kill Team: Shadowhunt, the next expansion for the game of tactical skirmishes. It contains two new kill teams: the jump pack-equipped Murderwing, who revel in terror and slaughter, and the Celestian Insidiants of the Adepta Sororitas – witch hunters who have been tasked with protecting the city settlement of Saint Meryn’s Heart. This box also includes the 88-page Shadowhunt Dossier, containing the rules for both kill teams as well as Joint Ops and Adversary Ops Shadowhunt mission packs for co-op and competitive play on the new Descent killzone, which splits the action into upper and lower floors.

Descending on powerful jump packs, the Murderwing is a six-operative kill team led by a Chaos Lord, and containing operatives like the Curseclaw, Depredator, Huntmaster, and Skysear. You get 12 interchangeable heads, five pairs of interchangeable shoulder pads and jump pack fins, plus accessories.

The Celestian Insidiants kill team is composed of operatives like the Denuncia, Censor, Reliquarius, and Abjuror, who fall under the command of the Superior.

The box is completed with a set of datacards for each kill team, a combined token sheet, an upper and a lower Descent killzone game board, and both teams come with a transfer sheet. Kill Team: Shadowhunt is only available while stocks last.

XV26 Stealth Battlesuits Kill Team

The T’au Empire uses a variety of different battlesuits alongside their cadres of Fire Warriors and allied Kroot to fulfill a multitude of strategic objectives. For missions that require a covert presence and high firepower, the XV26 Stealth Battlesuits kill team are beyond compare. This box contains eight miniatures, creating a kill team led by a Shas’vre, with operatives like the Neutraliser and Liberator, who are accompanied by an MV75 Marker Drone, MV15 Gun Drone, and a useful Homing Beacon marker. You also get a set of unique tokens for use in games of Kill Team, and a T’au Empire transfer sheet containing 177 transfers.

Wolf Scouts Kill Team

Keen trackers and lethal combatants, the Wolf Scouts kill team excel at covert operations, working behind enemy lines to sabotage equipment and eliminate key targets. This box contains six miniatures – a Pack Leader who commands operatives like the Fangbearer, Frosteye, and Trapmaster, plus a loyal Fenrisian Wolf. You also get a set of unique tokens for use in games of Kill Team, and a Space Wolves transfer sheet containing 419 transfers.

XV26 Stealth Battlesuits Datacards and Wolf Scouts Datacards

Complete your XV26 Stealth Battlesuits kill team and your Wolf Scouts kill team with these two datacard packs, each comprising 34 quick-reference datasheet cards containing faction rules and equipment, unique ploys, operative rules, and other useful information. These will be available while stocks last. Datacard packs are optional, and all team rules will be available online for free on the Warhammer Community website and on the Kill Team rules reference app.
