Chaos casts a long shadow over the Old World, and the northern coasts of the Empire are constantly under threat from marauders and barbarians from the frozen wastes beyond the seas. Many tribes gather there, worshipping aspects of Chaos Gods as totemic animals, carving out a brutal life in harsh environments and casting their eyes beyond their shores in jealousy.
Whether they pledge themselves to the Bloodied Hound, Carrion Crow, Slithering Serpent, or Fell Raptor, these tribes are unified in purpose, and as the Marauders of Chaos step foot abroad in a new campaign of terror they have one promise – to burn the Westerland to ashes.
Chaos Marauders Army Reinforcement Set

The armour-clad legions of Chaos Warriors are soon to be reinforced by a horde of Marauders who style themselves in leathers and furs, lest their ferociousness be shackled by iron. The Chaos Marauders Army Reinforcement Set is a way to add a shot of barbarian rage into your existing Warriors of Chaos army, or create an entirely new raiding party. It contains 50 new miniatures – a whopping 40 Chaos Marauders and 10 Marauder Horsemen.
Life in the frozen wastes of Norsca is harsh, and it takes people of a hardy stock not just to survive, but to thrive. Constant battles rage between the tribes, whose worship of the mercurial Chaos Gods and desire to expand their territories often leads them into conflicts that thin the herd further.
What remains are resilient, brutal warrior tribes, whose leaders are influenced by the Dark Gods whispering in their ears. The peasant masses who live in Bretonnia and the Empire may not live in the lap of luxury, but these Marauders are on their way to ensure what little comfort they may have is stolen away from them.

This brand new plastic kit brings these warrior tribes to life, in the form of muscular barbarians clad in fabrics, pelts, and chainmail. Every miniature has a choice of two heads, and their shields and hand weapons are interchangeable so you’ll be able to build varied units. While the taint of Chaos doesn’t affect their outward appearance, some recognisable helmets and a range of trinkets and embellishments show how they worship the Ruinous Powers in their own ways.

Each set of twenty can be made into two units of ten, each with full command options, and you have enough weapon options to outfit your regiments with either hand weapons and shields, great weapons, or flails.
Though a Marauder’s lot in life is largely a miserable one, the Ruinous Powers don’t go so far as to demand their servants footslog everywhere, and the warrior tribes are well practised in raising powerful – if ill-tempered – steeds that they ride into battle. Marauder Horsemen are often the first wave of offence when the tribes find their foe, crashing headlong into enemy ranks with heavy spears and flails.

The set of 10 Marauder Horsemen in this box can be built as two units of five, each with their own command group of champion, musician, and standard bearer. Just like the regular Marauders they sneer at from atop their powerful steeds, each Horseman has a choice of two heads.

This box also contains two new Warriors of Chaos transfer sheets, each one containing 246 decals that cover the iconography of the Norscan tribes, as well as a whole selection of runes to decorate your miniatures with.
New miniatures means new unit profiles, and they arrive courtesy of a new 48-page Arcane Journal.
Arcane Journal: The Razing of Westerland

Alongside rules for your Marauders, this new softback supplement goes into detail about the warrior tribes of Norsca, the four primordial spirits and how they worship them, and Frydaal the Chainmaker’s invasion of the Westerland. New rules for the four Cults of Chaos, Chaotic Traits, a Lore of the Shadowlands, plus new Artefacts of the Shadowlands give you everything you need to represent a ferocious army of tribesmen in thrall to the Chaos gods.
Finally, a Path to Glory campaign lets you take a 500 point army on the warpath, growing them in size and strength as you play, accompanied by three new scenarios themed around the Marauders. You’ll need Arcane Journal: The War of Settra’s Fury for the campaign and three Battle March size scenarios, and Ravening Hordes for the main Warriors of Chaos army rules.
