Warhammer Relics is our annual celebration of all the awesome licensed merch you can get your mitts on, from clothing to action figures, and there are always some extra special reveals to be seen. This year is no different.
We’ve got a mountain of announcements from our licensed partners all over the world, and starting today, you’ll be able to pick up deals and sales on loads of top shelf merchandise as part of the festival. Let’s have a look at our first showcase, from expert statue-makers Wētā Workshop.

Wētā Workshop – Boingrot Bounder

It seems like only yesterday that the massive statue of Skragrott the Loonking was gracing our lives, and now more of the Gloomspite Gitz are hot on his trail. This incredibly detailed figure of a Boingrot Bounder is the first in a new series of 1:10 scale statues from Wētā, which will span all the various worlds of Warhammer and bring some properly excellent designs to life like you’ve never seen them before.
Not ones to rest on their laurels, they’re also hard at work on the next statue in the larger 1:6 scale series – but what – or who – could it be?

You might be able to figure it out, but if not, you will have to wait until Wētā reveal more in the not too distant future. In the meantime, you can pre-order the Boingrot Bounder now, and start speculating about what else will be coming out in Wētā’s 1:10 scale range.

JOYTOY – Space Marine Mk X Tacticus-pattern Captain’s Helmet

The range of wearable Space Marine helmets from JOYTOY continues to expand with a new entry fit for a Captain – the Mk X Tacticus-pattern helmet in fetching Ultramarines livery. This version features the classic gold skull emblem to denote the rank of the wearer, and like all helmets in the range, has battery-powered LED lights in the eye lenses.
As an added bonus, if you pre-order the helmet from the Warhammer Merch store, you’ll also get a free T-shirt featuring an Ultramarines Captain wearing the exact helmet you’ll have on your shelf.

You can pre-order the helmet right now, in fact, so head on over to the Warhammer Merch store and get yours before the 2nd Company Captain position changes hands again.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar – The Ultimate Guide

Your votes have been tallied, and after a fierce bout of competition between Yndrasta, Archaon, and Ionus Cryptborn, the winner has been declared – Chaos reigns victorious once again, and the Grand Marshal of the Apocalypse takes his rightful place on the cover of the upcoming Warhammer Age of Sigmar – The Ultimate Guide, by DK Books.

This awesome tome is lavishly illustrated with miniature photography and artwork, and contains an encyclopedic breadth of information about the Mortal Realms and those who inhabit it. It’s a great book to keep on your coffee table, and fascinating for both seasoned veterans and fresh-faced newcomers to Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
That’s not all there is coming from DK, either – following on from Warhammer 40,000: Words of War, a new book of insightful quotes is on the way, featuring sage wisdom and inspiring speeches from the… Orks?

Okay, ‘insightful’ might be a stretch, but it should come as no surprise that the Orks have some pretty great quotes when they spend so much time yelling at their enemies. If you’ve ever wanted to rattle off something a bit more eloquent than ‘Waaagh!’, this is the book that’ll teach you how.
Both of these titles will be on shelves later this year.

Warhammer plushes and Wearable Power Fist

The next wave of adorable Warhammer plushes from Tomy has just been revealed, and yes – that is a stonking great power fist sitting alongside a Pink Horror, Tech-Priest Manipulus, and everyone’s favourite Christmas Squig Bounca. Better yet, you can wear the power fist yourself, though we can’t guarantee you’ll add any Strength 8, AP -2 attacks with Damage 2 to your profile. It’s a bit soft for that.

Kill Team and Spearhead Gaming Mats
You will soon be able to upgrade your games of Kill Team and Spearhead with a new series of durable, non-slip play mats from Ultra PRO, featuring terrain art suitable for all different kinds of games and – for Spearhead players – the objectives you need for the Fire & Jade mission pack printed right on the surface. These mats are great for protecting both your miniatures and your table, and can be rolled up for easy transportation. They will be released later this year.
If you’re planning on attending AdeptiCon this year, you’ll also be able to pick up two show-exclusive mats with extra gold-coloured accents, so keep an eye out!
