Since the release of the General’s Handbook 2025-26, a whole stack of battletomes have been released. The Blades of Khorne, Idoneth Deepkin, Kharadron Overlords, Flesh-eater Courts, and Nighthaunt have been visiting ruin and destruction upon their enemies in the Mortal Realms, but the Codewrights have noticed one or two minor discrepancies in the rules of battle, so it’s once again time for a Battlescroll to balance things out.
Two key downloads are Battletome Supplement: Nighthaunt and Battletome Supplement: Blades of Khorne. These documents collect some unit warscrolls that didn’t make it into the battletome for each faction and make them valid for matched play and tournaments until the 1st of June 2026.

There are a selection of minor changes and errata that clear up a few rules interactions and answer some of your recent questions. The biggest balance change affects the Scourge of Ghyran version of Pontifex Zenestra, Matriarch of the Great Wheel, as some new restrictions for the Salvation effect of Sigmar’s Will stops the zealous preacher from scooping her own units out of combat and popping them far away from her opponent. Handy for people who want to pin down teleporting cannons.

The Kharadron Overlords have also seen changes to Skyvessel Cover, which no longer works when a vessel charges. The Assault Boat rule for Arkanaut Frigates only lets one unit Strike-first, and the Celestium Burst Grenade is only once per battle. Scourge of Ghyran Skyvessel Upgrades are also renamed to match the new battletome nomenclature.
The Skulls for the Skull Throne ability for Blades of Khorne has also been changed to Once Per Turn (Army), rather than Once Per Battle Round. Armies who have been taking the Scouting Force battle tactics card will also need to be aware that faction terrain is no longer eligible.

Battle Profile updates also bring with them a whole bevy of points changes, far too many for us to list here. Factions performing a little above expectations, including the Cities of Sigmar, Daughters of Khaine, Kharadron Overlords, and Kruleboyz, have been given a few points increases, and those needing a little boost, such as the Seraphon, Stormcast Eternals, Gloomspite Gitz, and Ironjawz, have received reductions. A reminder that enhancements can cost points now, so make sure you check your faction for the latest changes.
In addition, battle profiles for the Helsmiths of Hashut are included but, like other army releases, they won't be considered legal for Matched Play until the separate release of the battletome in the coming weeks.

The World Championships of Warhammer aren’t too far away, which will see players from all over the world battling it out on the tabletop, and provide the Warhammer Age of Sigmar team with plenty more data to sift through. Good luck to everyone taking part!
