Necromunda is a choking, claustrophobic hub of activity, and eking out a life there between ceaseless gang warfare, draconian law enforcement, and incendiary insurrections led by ancient beings exhumed from long-forgotten tombs is pretty tough. The idea of living a quiet life is about as likely as surviving an encounter with a Piscean Spektor, so anyone with a vaguely workable life skill markets themselves as a Hanger-on to earn coin and a bit of gang protection. And, would you look at that, here are a handful of unsalubrious folk plying their trade.
This pack of five Hangers-on brings some existing favourites to plastic – the Ammo-jack, Slopper, Dome Runner, and Rogue Doc, who now has a handy medi skull – and it also adds a brand new Hanger-on, the ever vigilant Hive Watcher.
Available to any gang, the Hive Watcher knows every nook and cranny of Necromunda. No secret tunnel, hidden chamber, or lift escapes their knowledge, and with a keen eye for things that look even just a little askew, they are paid handsomely to stand vigil for gangs. With their Eyes of the Hive rule, they force fighters with Infiltrate or arriving via Reinforcements to set up 9” away from your gang.

Eyes on the Hive
While a gang has a Hive Watcher on their Gang Roster, enemy fighters using the Infiltrate skill or arriving on the battlefield via Reinforcements must be set up at least 9" away from this gang’s fighters as opposed to the usual 6".
You’re probably familiar with the rest, but it never hurts to get a refresher, especially as your hard-earned credits are on the line. The Slopper is an expert in producing food that’s just on the right side of edible for Hive Primus, ensuring your fighters can recover a little better, while the Rogue Doc is on hand to patch up bullet wounds, and worse – just don’t expect a miracle, as they can only work with the tools they have on hand. They also have two head options.
Speaking of tools, the medi skull accompanying them in the box is a rare piece of equipment that lets you roll an extra dice and discard the worst one when making a Recovery test, presumably as the sight of a floating skull with a big needle scares the patient into getting out of their cot.

MEDI SKULL
80 CREDITS – RARE (12)
When making a Recovery test for the owning fighter, roll an extra Injury dice, then choose one of the dice to resolve and discard the other. This is in addition to any friendly fighters assisting the recovery and any other items such as medicae kits, so it is possible that the owning fighter may be rolling several Injury dice to choose from.
Dome Runners are a little like Hive Watchers in that they know all of the access points and secret tunnels of the hive, but they choose to use their skills to do cool and high-risk stuff like breaking into security holds and well-hidden gang storehouses. This often gets them killed, but you can’t make bank without making a name in Hive Primus.

Updated rules for the Rogue Doc with medi skull and Dome Runner, and new rules for the Hive Watcher, are all available in the upcoming book Necromunda: The Aranthian Succession – Spire of Primus, while rules for Sloppers and Ammo-Jacks exist in the various House of… gang books, as well as Bastions of Law and Halls of the Ancients.
