Rule the skies with a flotilla of Kharadron Overlords innovations

They do love to take to the skies in the Mortal Realms: there are winged monsters aplenty – Slann Starmasters float all over the place on comfy thrones, and every Nighthaunt from the lowliest Chainrasp to the Black Coach can soar over the battlefield. But none master the skies like the Kharadron Overlords.

These mercantile duardin ply the skies in endrin-powered airships, hunting for aether-gold, working as mercenaries, and tirelessly seeking new ways to turn profit. With their enemies fielding wizards and priests, these inventive duardin have developed a response – the Null-Khemist.

The brainchild of the Aether-Khemists Guild, the nullsuit is a premium piece of gear crafted from nullstone meteorites that have fallen from the aetheric void. These heavy-duty suits allow their wearers to withstand the most hazardous environments imaginable, even the lands corrupted by the Skaven during the Hour of Ruin.

A hazy aura of null-gas shields nearby allies from deleterious magic, and when projected from the null-gas extinguisher directly into the face of a wizard, priest, or conjured manifestation, it can be especially lethal – definitely don’t try this at home.

For a little more recklessness look no further than the headstrong Vongrim Salvagers, who eschew long-range firepower for the rattle of cutlasses and punchy report of pistols.

These plucky skyfarers form the core of the mercenary Vongrim Guild. Created by Albas Meransson, a captain who lost his ship and was unable to procure a replacement through official channels, it’s home to other down-on-their-luck Kharadron.

The Vongrim Harpoon Crew meanwhile care not for their second swing at fame and fortune, instead seeking vengeance against whatever beast scuttled their ship and slaughtered their crew.

Armed with hand-made weapons and wearing beards far beyond regulation length – these determined hunters are a popular hire as aether-gold strands naturally attract ferocious wildlife.

As the Kharadron Overlords know that good business is proactive, they have even innovated their defensive platforms in the form of the new Zontari Endrin Dock.

Originally created by the weaponsmiths of Barak-Zon, this is a mobile platform designed to accompany a skyfleet into combat. A single overseer operates the controls, pulling levers and yanking pulleys to help out with repairs and ensure their payload of auto-endrins are deployed where they’re needed most.

Each a wonder of aether-endrineering and powered by complex aethermatic algorithms, these can nullify manifestations, deploy stunclouds and drop grudgeblast demolitions – sometimes the old methods truly are the best.

Enterprising admirals everywhere have spotted plenty of new opportunities to scour for aether-gold and plunder in regions previously too hazardous to explore, and so the skyfleets are on the move once more with the upcoming Battletome: Kharadron Overlords.

Like any good Kharadron tome, this one is full of codes, artycles, and amendments, all designed to help you dominate the skies – and battlefields – of the Mortal Realms.

The Grundstok Trailblazers are a small and efficient force of Kharadron Overlords sent ahead of larger skyfleets to forcefully stake a claim on aether-gold deposits and other valuable loot. An Endrinmaster in a Dirigible Suit commands five Grundstok Thunderers, three Endrinriggers, and a nippy Grundstok Gunhauler – providing plenty of mobile firepower to help aggressively persuade other claimants to move on.

We’re weighing anchor and taking to the skies, lest we find ourselves forced to join the Vongrim Guild. When the Kharadron Overlords make port, we’ll be sure to let you know.
