We announced the upcoming Black Library novel Master of Rites all the way back in April, which stars Ferren Areios as the newly-appointed captain of the Ultramarines’ 6th Company.
Never one to rest on his victory laurels, Areios is now making the jump to the tabletop with an awesome new miniature!
Wielding a hefty thunder hammer, Areios is ready to free the worlds of Ultramar from the grip of Nurgle (and any other enemies that get in his way).
The Master of the Rites in a Space Marine Chapter is charged with recording the martial traditions of his brothers, and so Areios is rightly accompanied by a servo skull with an autoquill, ready to scribble down any urgent notes in the midst of battle.
Areios is not the first Ultramarines hero from the pages of Black Library fiction who has received the miniature treatment. He follows in the footsteps of 4th Company Captain Uriel Ventris, star of the Ultramarines series of novels.
