Kill Team: Dead Silence is available for pre-order tomorrow, and it contains two super sneaky teams – the Wolf Scouts and the XV26 Stealth Battlesuits. What exactly happens when two opposing forces both attempt to infiltrate enemy lines? Do they just… swap places? Meet awkwardly in the middle and shuffle their feet? We’re not sure, but given it’s Kill Team, we’re anticipating lots of fighting.
A handful of these kill teams managed to covertly deliver themselves to some painters from around the community. Here are the fruits of their labour. Thanks to everyone who took part, and apologies to anyone we couldn’t feature.
Wolf Scouts
With heightened senses and ferocious ability in combat, the Wolf Scouts are the ideal kill team. Andrew Lynch, Ben Campbell, and Marc Büsing have each managed to complete an entire team of these feral warriors, presumable ready to sniff out foes behind enemy lines.
Brad, aka @mountainsidetabletop, Darcy Bono, and Mike from Turning Point Tactics all painted a group of Wolf Scouts for us too. The Fenrisian Wolf is exactly as popular as we expected – who doesn’t enjoy a kill team with a pet?
We also got submissions from Jon Rees, Jon Gómez, Jules Gill, and Patrick Brampton, who gave us a selection of interesting takes on the Space Wolves.

Finally, Chris Frosin converted his Wolf Scouts into even stealthier operatives by turning his Space Marines into Raven Guard. Inspiring stuff!
XV26 Stealth Battlesuits
Veteran pilots in top-of-the-range stealth suits armed with deadly weapons make the XV26 Stealth Battlesuits a formidable foe. Ben Campbell, Chris from GFN Gaming, and Vic Vrankulj are clearly eager to get their teams on the tabletop and have painted a full set each.
Lloyd Davies, Ian Stokes, Jon Rees, and Darcy Bono have all provided their own takes on these new, advanced stealth suits, which provide plenty of opportunities for cool colour schemes.
Spencer Stone, Thor Intararangson, Tiffany Brampton, Calum Walton, and Vincent Knotley tried to sneak a couple of extra stealth suits past us, but we remain ever vigilant of their skills with pigments.
You can pre-order Kill Team: Dead Silence tomorrow. Make sure to share your completed kill teams with us on Instagram and the official Warhammer 40,000 Facebook page.
