You can’t get through the festive season without a party or two. They might involve chatting with a colleague from a different department you had no idea existed, discovering new cousins, friends of the family, or siblings while perusing a buffet table. Or it might be joining a bunch of odd souls and roguish figures brought together by a purpose higher than themselves to smash the ever-living-snot out of a bunch of Nurgle worshippers. The latter involving a game of Warhammer Quest: Darkwater, of course.
In today’s Grotmas Calendar entry, the heroes of Darkwater break free of the Jade Abbey and receive Legends rules for use in Warhammer Age of Sigmar.
The whole gang are collected together as the Heroes of the Jade Abbey Regiment of Renown for the forces of Order, which increases in points depending on the heroes you add to your questing party. You can take just one hero, or any combo you want, up to using all seven in one hefty regiment. All of their unique equipment and abilities are translated into Warhammer Age of Sigmar abilities, and while they stay together they get extra melee attacks.
With the Maggotkin of Nurgle getting some rotten reinforcements in the new year, we reckon the forces of Order will need all the help they can get in driving them back.
