It wouldn’t be Christmas without an awesome Warhammer reveal. Behold! Huron Blackheart, Master of the Red Corsairs, pirate lord of the Maelstrom, and Tyrant of Badab.
This new plastic miniature shows the full horror of what happens when a Space Marine has half of his body vaporised by a melta blast. Huron Blackheart’s face is mutilated, and his power armour broken all down his right side. It has allowed the monstrous weapon known as the Tyrant’s Claw to be attached, however, so there’s definitely a silver lining in there somewhere.
After his miraculous recovery – the details of which are shrouded in mystery – Huron wasted no time in breaking every scoundrel and reaver he could reach until all swore service to his new Red Corsairs. He rules over the Maelstrom with a heady mix of charisma, brutality, and a dread reputation that travels far beyond his domain – famed for eviscerating even his closest allies when their loyalty begins to waver.
He wouldn’t be much of a captain without a crew, however. More miniatures will be joining his command team when they release next year – can you guess who or what they might be?
