It’s time once again for Warhammer Community’s rumourmongers to venture into the Jade Abbey to bring you another glimpse of the upcoming Warhammer Quest: Darkwater.
Last week we held a poll to decide which model we would show off first, which was won by the heroic Edmark Valoran, the Manticore Knight.
But we’re wary of incurring the wrath of anyone who didn’t see their favoured hero revealed. The mists part and we can now reveal Drolf Ironhead, the grizzled explorer…
Drolf Ironhead is a rare breed for a duardin, for he thrives in the tangled labyrinth of the Aquian forest, hacking paths through some of the most formidable terrain in the Everspring Swathe.
He hails from a Khazalid clan that once made their home in the Mistral Peaks; allies of the Jade Abbey, they fought in its defence until a plague-flood unleashed by Gelgus Pust inundated their halls and drowned most of them. Drolf was naught but a beardling back then, but he still remembers the oath he swore: to avenge his kin.
Decades of survival out in the wilds have given him the tools and know-how to solve almost any problem, and he seeks to solve the unnatural scourge of Gelgus Pust by hewing the Prince of Sores to pieces with his twin axes.
Hopefully that information will settle any grudges!
