The third and final instalment of the Warhammer Age of Sigmar animation Sigmar’s Toll has just landed on Warhammer TV. Warhammer+ Subscribers can watch the full series now:
WARNING: MILD SPOILERS AHEAD
The main story of Sigmar’s Toll follows the Stormcast Eternals of the Hallowed Knights as they seek to save the belligerent city of Embergard from the encroaching doom of the Gnaw.

The series also spends plenty of time with the Skaven, including a generous dose of devious scheming on the part of the two most senior Skaven – Grey Seer Vreek and Clawlord Skabpelt.
Grey Seer Vreek
Like all members of the Masterclan, Vreek is a skilled sorcerer, blessed with both the power to channel the magic of ruin and a fetching set of curling horns, the symbol of his patron god. While not technically in charge of the Skaven forces, he has naturally identified himself as the most qualified to claim the glory of their inevitable victory. If the upstart warlord Skabpelt could be an unfortunate casualty in that victory, well… these things happen.
Warlord Skabpelt
A Skaven of unusual size and ferocity, Skabpelt climbed the Skaven hierarchy in the usual manner of an aspiring chieftain – by embedding his blade in the backs of rivals! He has a profound dislike of Grey Seer Vreek (as all Skaven do of anyone trying to usurp their authority), though the seer’s connections within the Council of Thirteen have thus far meant he has stopped short of moving openly against Vreek. If Skabpelt’s plan to claim the emberstone beneath the human city comes to pass, he may just have the power and influence he needs to do away with the troublesome Grey Seer once and for all.

These two rivals have been tasked by the Council of Thirteen with the fall of the mighty city of Embergard. To aid them in this, they have one of the 13 great bells of the Skaven, a vast construction of corrupted metal and warpstone that, when rung, will drive the Skaven hordes into a killing frenzy and incapacitate their foes – both very useful traits. Naturally, both Skaven commanders are trying to engineer this ringing, and thus their glorious victory, at such a time as to ensure that they alone live to take credit for it.
See how they get on in the third and final installment of Sigmar’s Toll, streaming now on Warhammer TV.
