It’s the first of October, which means the nights are starting to get long and chill for us here in Warhammer Community towers. If only there was some way to stay entertained on these endless evenings…* Wait, it’s Wednesday, which means three more Warhammer TV episodes to watch. Thank the Emperor (and the hard working presenters, videographers, and editors) for this gift!
First up, we’ve got the second part of Tale of Four Gamers. The points limit is getting upped to 2,000 this time, which means more miniatures for Josh, Alex, Ed, and Quinn, and even bigger battles. Josh’s Word Bearers are facing off against Ed’s Blood Angels, while Alex is pitting the Death Guard against Quinn’s mixed force of Salamanders, Iron Hands, and Raven Guard. We’re looking forward to seeing who wins – and watching those armies swell to 3,000 points next time.

Somehow, Ed finds time to host an episode of Painting Desk too, where he chats to Mark, a veteran of the Warhammer Design Studio and long term hobbyist. He’ll be comparing his 2007 Golden Demon diorama to more recent projects, and discussing how he changes up his painting when working on competition pieces versus more relaxed gaming projects.

Alex has also packed in an episode of Loremasters this week, all about the Brand family, who hail from the Snow Peaks in Aqshy. It delves into who the Darkoath are, their place in the Mortal Realms, and why Gunnar Brand and his tribe became so pivotal to the wider happenings in the Age of Sigmar during the run up to the Vermindoom.

Annual subscribers who renewed or signed up in late August or earlier September should be able to order their new awesome Warhammer+ diorama miniatures now, and have them delivered promptly. If you have not seen them yet, you can check them out here, plus see how our team got on with painting them. They’re just one aspect of your Warhammer+ subscription, which includes access to shows like those above, animations including Sigmar’s Toll, and more besides.
* Other than building and painting miniatures, of course.
