The Hour of Ruin is a time of widespread anarchy and confusion, with the Skaven menace upending the balance of power in the wake of the Vermindoom. In this uncertain time of change, Tzeentch and his disciples are thriving. Terrible news for their foes, but for his most loyal followers it means a new miniature, a dramatic terrain feature, and a Battletome!
Always keen to stymie the plans of the Changer of the Ways, Teclis and the Lumineth Realm-lords are also getting a new miniature and Battletome, keeping the rivalry between these supercilious aelves and shifting schemers alive and well.
Disciples of Tzeentch: Fatemaster

The circuitous plans of the Disciples of Tzeentch are frequently brought about by arcane proficiency and duplicitous scheming, but few victories in the Mortal Realms are won without armies clashing. Fatemasters command the martial Arcanite forces, conducting the Change God’s military campaigns.

They are skilled duellists, but like most of Tzeentch’s warriors they don’t always fight fair. Instead, Fatemasters prepare deceptions long in advance, inviting enemy heroes to cut down illusions while they seize their true objectives elsewhere on the field.
Disciples of Tzeentch: Argent Shards
When the followers of Tzeentch do battle, the air is filled with shimmering sorceries and pyroclastic gouts of magical energy – often issued forth from Argent Shards. These eerie floating structures act as conduits for thaumaturgy, ensuring no-one can hide from the powerful incantations of the Disciples of Tzeentch.

Each Argent Shard is taken from a Silver Tower, either naturally formed by the tower, or crafted from a shattered piece of it dislodged during battle. Formed in pairs, the shards shift and phase in and out of reality, and when the foe destroys one, its twin can split in two, ensuring the Disciples of Tzeentch can continue their arcane barrage.
Battletome: Disciples of Tzeentch
The library of arcane tomes known to Tzeentch is simultaneously infinite and ever-growing – hopefully he’s got room on the shelves in his capricious domain for Battletome: Disciples of Tzeentch. Ah, who are we kidding, he always knew this was coming.

Within the pages of this grimoire you’ll find pages of background lore that will teach you much about the Disciples of Tzeentch and the daemons of change, all accompanied by prismatic art and gorgeous photography of miniatures. Not one to rest on his laurels, Tzeentch has concocted a brand new battle trait, allowing his followers to earn fate points for key failures – losing the priority roll, having spells unbound, miscasting spells, losing objectives, and having Argent Shards destroyed. These points can then be cashed in to alter fate, mitigating damage, boosting casting rolls and more. You can also look forward to sowing confusion on the battlefield by popping key units in reserve and swapping them with others in the midst of battle.
We’ll be taking a deeper dive on how it all works closer to release, so long as what we’re reading from now isn’t a devious illusion. There are also rules in the battletome for two Armies of Renown, including the Oracles of Fate which sees Kairos Fateweaver and his daemons bring back Destiny Dice, two Regiments of Renown, and a new Spearhead. Path to Glory content lets you alter fate to forge your own perfect hero, and provides two paths for use in campaigns. You don’t need to see the future to know there will also be a gamer’s edition, separate warscroll cards, and dice available.
Battleforce: Warpflame Cavalcade

Kairos Fateweaver has foreseen your desire to consume your foes in a conflagration of kaleidoscopic flame, and ensured the coalescence of the Warpflame Cavalcade battleforce long in advance of this announcement. This convocation of daemons comprises three Screamers of Tzeentch, three flamers of Tzeentch, an Exalted Flamer of Tzeentch, a Herald of Tzeentch on Burning Chariot, and 10 each of Pink, Blue and Brimstone Horrors, along with Kairos. It’s a great way to start an army, or get a collection ready to run the Oracles of Fate Army of Renown.
Spearhead: Tzaangor Warflock

Feathered and furious, the Tzaangor swarm from the wilds of the Mortal Realms to wreak havoc on cities, following fluctuations of magic divined by their powerful shamans when deciding where to strike. They’ve all agreed Spearhead boards are the best place to demonstrate their superiority, and the Tzaangor Warflock contains three Tzaangor Enlightened, Three Tzaangor Skyfires, and 10 Tzaangor, all led by a Tzaangor Shaman.
Regiments of Renown: Seekers of Silver

Whenever a Silver Tower is damaged, fragments of esoteric knowledge and eldritch power are scattered across the Mortal Realms. The Seekers of Silver – a Gaunt Summoner on Disc of Tzeentch joined by a Magister on Disc of Tzeentch and three Screamers of Tzeentch, for some nimble aerial action – will ally themselves with other Chaos forces while on the hunt for these treasures.
Of course, the Changer of the Ways and his followers may proclaim themselves to be the most adept sorcerers in all the Mortal Realms, but we’re sure the Lumineth Realm-lords have more than a few words to say about that. Probably loads, in fact – they do love to hear themselves speak…
Lumineth Realm-lords: Vanari Lord Regent

The exemplary commanders of the Lumineth’s radiant hosts have deigned to set foot on the ground and lead their comrades into battle. Vanari Lord Regents are, like all Lumineth, exceptionally skilled combatants, who use aetherquartz to heighten their reflexes to near-impossibly fast levels. More than this, they are trusted to lead by Tyrion himself, and make shining examples of themselves in battle, rallying allies back to the fray when the battle is all but lost.

When not inspiring their fellow warriors with dazzling swordplay, they guide Auralan Wardens to form an impenetrable wall of blades and aggressively perforate their foes. If you want your Lord Regent looking as ostentatious as possible you can build him holding his helmet and proudly flying a back banner. Alternatively, he can be built ready to engage the foe with a shield planted in the ground and helmet tightly on his head.
Battletome: Lumineth Realm-lords
The Lumineth Realm-lords consider themselves best in all things.* You can read all about their glittering history in Battletome: Lumineth Realm-lords, supported by dazzling art and sumptuous photos of miniatures.

The Lumineth Realm-lords have taken a step forward in their military strategies, now inscribing runes of power into the battlefield to embolden their warhosts and cleanse the corruption that spread during the Hour of Ruin. Each rune inscribed at the start of a battle round grants its own effect, and can even resonate with previously inscribed runes to alter and further empower these effects. We’ll be doing plenty of research in Settler’s Gain and explaining it all to you in a future article on Warhammer Community.
You can also find rules for two Armies of Renown, including a force of Vanari who undertake great labours in battle to earn the Lord Phoenix’s blessing, two Regiments of Renown, and a new Spearhead. You’ll also be able to generate a hero of unprecedented perfection and valour with new Anvil of Apotheosis rules, and give your forces two new paths to follow in Path to Glory. In his wisdom, Teclis is also bringing us a gamer’s edition battletome, dice, and warscroll cards.
Battleforce: Iliathan Warhost

You can help purge the realms of filth and darkness with the new Iliathan Warhost battleforce, which is the perfect starting point for an army, or a way to reinforce a Hurakan and Alarith force with some good, old fashioned Vanari muscle. Ellania and Ellathor, the Eclipsian Warsages are joined by a force of five Vanari Bladelords, 10 Vanari Auralan Sentinels, 10 Vanari Auralan Wardens, a Vanari Starshard Ballista, and 10 Ydrilan Riverblades capable of slipping into battle ahead of their allies.
Spearhead: Hurakan Vanguard

As swift as the wind itself, the Hurakan Vanguard protects the borders of Lumineth territory and seeks to intercept enemy forces wherever they threaten aelven interests. A Hurakan Windmage commands this new Spearhead, which also contains five Hurakan Windchargers and a Hurakan Spirit of the Wind who are as fast and savage as a stormfront. While they’re off dashing around, a reliable block of 10 Vanari Auralan Wardens can lay claim to objectives.
Regiments of Renown: Sigil Convocation

The Lumineth’s mastery of magic extends to manifestations, and wandering Scinari sorcerers who do not wish to restrict their realm-healing prowess to the lands of Hysh will align themselves with other Order factions to travel the land and purge evil. The Sigil Convocation contains a Scinari Calligrave, the Sanctum of Amyntok, Hyshian Twinstones, and Rune of Petrification, which they can summon and cycle through with ease, all while using their thaumaturgical prowess to dismiss inelegantly wrought enemy spells with a simple flourish.
Whether you opt to align yourself with the Disciples of Tzeentch or join the Lumineth Realm-lords in their mission to cleanse the Mortal Realms, sorcery fans are all set. For those that prefer pure discipline, martial might, and the pull of dark magic… check out the Ossiarch Bonereapers, who have just received some mighty reinforcements!
* They tend to ignore that one time they were a little too sure of themselves and caused a realm-spanning catastrophe.
