For ten millennia the Adeptus Custodes have stood vigil over the God-Emperor’s throne room, defending Holy Terra from threats within and without – and they’ve looked fantastic while doing it. As the pinnacle of Humanity’s warrior hierarchy, they have access to the best gear, and all that shining auramite makes for some truly excellent portraits.
As part of our journey through the vast galleries of Warhammer art, we’re stopping in with the Talons of the Emperor.

With all that honour, integrity, and heroic bearing on display, we need something completely different for next week’s exhibition – and the Drukhari are about as far away as you can get. We’ll be heading to Commorragh to see what abhorrent artwork they have to share. In the meantime, make sure to let us know what your favourite Adeptus Custodes illustrations are on the Warhammer 40,000 Facebook page.
