The Ecclesiarchy – the great church of the Imperium – is devoted to instilling faith in the God-Emperor amongst Humanity, and what better way to do that than with stirring depictions of some of His foremost servants? Nothing’s sure to raise the spirits of an oppressed and demoralised populace than seeing heroic warriors smiting myriad threats, and so our tour of the art of Warhammer 40,000 brings us to those noted defenders of the faith, the Adepta Sororitas.
Each of these Ecclesiarchy-approved illuminations showcases Battle Sisters and their allies in action, from the Living Saint, Celestine, to squads of bolter-wielding warriors and the penitent hordes who follow in their wake.
