Warhammer art through the years: Necrons

So much of the 41st Millennium is cold, harsh, and spiky – but take away the spikes, add a dash of green glow, and you’ve got something much more sinister: the Necrons. Their gleaming necrodermis and emerald energies make for a striking departure from the pristine T’au Empire and jagged Chaos Space Marines, and we’ve gathered a gallery of our favourite artwork to show just how good they can look.

Now that’s a collection so good even Trazyn the Infinite is taking notice. If there’s a favourite of yours that we haven’t dug up,* make sure to show us on the Warhammer 40,000 Facebook page, and start looking forward to next week’s gallery – where we’re getting angry with the World Eaters.

* Like that terrifying picture of the Nightbringer rising over some Imperial explorators. You know the one.
