This week on Warhammer TV there are three new shows to watch while you’re building and painting. There’s also a new Warhammer+ competition to enter – read on for details.
The latest episode of How We Roll is all about the most recent Chapter Approved 2025-26 Mission Deck, the primary way to play matched play and competitive games of Warhammer 40,000. This new deck changed things up by replacing Secret Missions with the new Challenger system, which provides players who slip behind in victory points a new mission or a powerful stratagem to even the odds. The deck also includes rules for smaller 1,000 point conflicts and asymmetrical missions too, and Nick is talking to Kenny from the Warhammer 40,000 rules team about the design process behind all of these elements.

In a change from our previously advertised programming*, Alex has delved into the dank and gloomy caverns of the Mortal Realms, where he has found Andy Clark frantically scribbling stories about the Gloomspite Gitz. By promising to keep the Glareface Frazzlegit at bay, he’s coaxed a wonderful Scribes & Scriveners interview about how Andy gets into the mindset of a grot – lots of mushrooms and staring at the moon if we had to guess.

For our final Warhammer TV offering this week, our Ultimate Paint-off contestants return for the second in a series of three challenges, which will decide who gets crowned the winner. This week Amber, Emily, Jon, and Rik are presented with a series of freehand tasks, from painting Space Marine Chapter symbols to decorating the banner of an Old World orc. They’re being judged by an ’Eavy Metal painter, so the pressure is on.

Fans of in-depth roleplaying games are getting a treat next year, with the release of Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy from Owlcat Games. In anticipation we’re giving away three copies of the game’s collector’s edition when it’s released. These are packed with goods, including a kroot figurine, printed novella, printed art book and Inquisitorial Insignia, alongside digital offerings such as unique items, an art book, and the OST.

All you need to do to be in with a chance to win is to sign up to Warhammer+ by the 31st of October by 11:50pm. What’s more, even if you don’t win you’ll receive a 25% discount code for the Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy Collector’s Edition, which you can use to secure your pre-order. Terms and conditions apply.
You can get access to plenty of upcoming competitions and discounts, as well the three new episodes mentioned above, alongside access to a huge library of previous shows and animations, like the recently concluded Sigmar’s Toll, all as part of your Warhammer+ subscription. By signing up for a whole year you also get to choose from one of two brilliant diorama miniatures.
* We had previously said that there would be an episode of Deep Strike this week, featuring the developers of Total War: Warhammer III. This episode has been delayed.
