Scourge of Ghyran: The Lords of Death attempt to conquer the Realm of Life

Rise up, undying minion, and claim what is rightfully yours – new rules for the Soulblight Gravelords! Hierophant Alex of Nulahmia shares his wisdom on these recent necromantic occurrences.

The Soulblight have been granted two new battle formations that couldn’t be more different. Skinshifters enables one of your Vampires to transform into a bat, wolf, snake or any other monstrous form and flit over, under and through terrain as if it weren’t there. Cryptmasters, on the other hand, involves no movement whatsoever, focusing instead on fortifying a Cursed Sepulchre with deathly wards.

On top of this there are three new heroic traits for you to sink your teeth into. Immortal Ego gives your chosen hero the skills to match their towering arrogance, while Frightening Vitality ensures they’ll stay standing long after they should be dead. Then there’s a Wastrel and a Vagabond, which doesn’t make an undead hero any better… it just makes their minions dangerously faster.

But what of this faction’s Scourge of Ghyran warscrolls? The first is the Corpse Cart which, despite its ramshackle appearance now hits more reliably. More importantly, it invigorates nearby Deadwalker Zombies, making them lash out more ferociously on death.

The other new warscroll is for Sekhar, Fang of Nulahmia, who can now extend her hypnotic influence across the battlefield, persuading enemy units to ignore commands, causing wizards to fail spells, and forcing enemy heroes to turn their blades on their allies.
