Warhammer+ is the essential subscription service for your Warhammer hobby, with hundreds of hours of premium content to watch, an exclusive free model every year and a massive digital lore vault.
Every animated show on Warhammer+ is forged by teams of talented creatives working together with the Warhammer Studio. It takes a whole lot of work to go from concept to completion, with loads of people involved in writing, animation, and music, and loads more besides.
In this week’s episode of Deep Strike, Alex is going behind the scenes of Pariah Nexus with Sarah and Wade from the Warhammer Studio. If you haven’t seen it yet, you can check out a preview of the animation right here:
Primarily involved with creating the initial story – and supervising the narrative as it is brought to life by a team of animators and performers – Sarah and Wade are two of the best placed people to answer in-depth questions about the episode, and Alex has a stack of them to work through.
After all that time spent working on the animation, they’re also intimately familiar with details and easter eggs that you might have missed, which makes this episode the perfect accompaniment to a rewatch of all three episodes of Pariah Nexus.

On top of Deep Strike this week, we’ve also got the first episode of a brand new series of Questing Nights as four adventurers descend into the Jade Abbey to tackle Warhammer Quest: Darkwater in the first of a three-episode series. Will they be able to survive the trials and defeat Gelgus Pust? We’ll just have to see…

Ed is joined by multiple Golden Demon winner and ’Eavy Metal painter Robin on a new episode of Painting Desk. In this episode Robin talks about the challenges and rewards that come with painting for competitions, as well as matching true metallics and matte surfaces, colour palettes, subtle conversions, and balancing texture and colour saturation.
And there’s loads more to look forward to on Warhammer+ this month:
