Warhammer TV this week: Writing the latest General’s Handbook

Dice rolled by the fistful, cheers at successful charges, gasps at audacious tactical gambits, and weary sighs at statistically implausible amounts of ones – those are the signs that people are getting their reps in with the new General’s Handbook 2025-26.

This week on Warhammer TV, How We Roll is taking a look at designing this Ghyran-themed season of Matched Play. Jimbo from the Warhammer Studio will be chatting to our hosts about the decisions that went into the new rules, making it a must watch for anyone who wants to understand the new season.

Loremasters is appropriately bookish this week with an episode all about those cream-coloured librarians with bolters, the Tome Keepers. This Chapter meticulously records all possible information about its history, which makes them a perfect topic for host Alex to cover in detail.

Scrap Demon returns once more! This time the challenge is to create a new hulking horror for the Adeptus Mechanicus, but will the contestants adhere to the strict dogma of the Tech-Priests of Mars, or will they let heresy get the better of them and create something truly blasphemous? You’ll have to watch to find out.

Finally, new show Victory Points debuts this week with an episode all about list building in Warhammer Age of Sigmar, which will pair nicely with this week’s episode of How We Roll. This show has our presenters ask the creators of the game how to excel at certain aspects of their games, for a unique behind the scenes perspective.
