We’re taking our first bite out of November with a set of three new shows for Warhammer+ and an exclusive free extract from The Art of Warhammer Video Games from DK, providing us with a glimpse at this upcoming book.
Last week our four Warhammer: The Horus Heresy gamers concluded their Tale of Four Gamers series with a set of 3,000-point battles. Armies that big don’t appear out of nowhere, and in Tale of Four Painters you can find out how they finished off their final 1,000 points – from Quinn’s Iron Hands Saturnine Terminators to Alex’s motor pool of Death Guard tanks. It’s an inspiring look through the process of committing to paint a full-sized army.

Ten thousand years after the Horus Heresy and mobs of walkers are battling each other in a new episode of Arena of Death. Nick, Si, and Josh are in command of a team of Imperial, Chaos, and xenos walkers respectively, pitting Dreadnoughts, Sentinels, Deff Dreads, Wraithlords, and more against each other in a brutal showdown. We can’t begin to imagine who will win, but we know it’s going to be carnage.

On Loremasters, Alex explores allies of necessity formed in Warhammer Age of Sigmar. We may view the armies of Order, Chaos, Death, and Destruction as unified bodies all acting for the same goal, but it’s far from the truth of the matter, and even the deities and leaders of the factions of Order rarely agree with each other beyond the basics of “let’s not let Archaon win again” and “maybe Nagash shouldn’t get to have a lifeless Necrotopia?”.

As promised, you can also check out a free excerpt from The Art of Warhammer Video Games on the Warhammer Vault website. It’s available to pre-order right now, and releases later in the month, so this is your chance to take an early peek at what the book has to offer.
Access to the extract, the three new episodes mentioned above, and a huge library of previous shows and animations are all available as part of a Warhammer+ subscription. You also get to choose from one of two brilliant diorama miniatures – and by signing up for a whole year at once, you’ll get your chosen miniature early.
