Warhammer TV – We go behind the scenes on Total War: Warhammer III

There’s a new Warhammer Preview show on the way, which we reckon will mean loads more miniatures revealed, and thus even more stuff for us to build and paint. To help us make a start on our towering piles of potential, the Warhammer TV crew have three new shows to get us feeling inspired, and to soundtrack all of our hobbying. There is also a new supercut of Kill Lupercal, on top of some free episodes to watch – read on for more info!

On Tale of Four Gamers, our Praetors reach their goal of 3,000 points and take to the tabletop to decide the victor. It’s been a long journey, but a fantastic way for our presenters to build a collection while having fun – there will be a follow-up episode soon all about the final step in their journeys to building and painting a full-sized Warhammer: The Horus Heresy army.

Speaking of grand undertakings, in this week’s episode of Deep Strike, Alex interviews Rich Aldridge and Sean Macdonald from Creative Assembly about the massive task of creating Total War: Warhammer III. They cover diving into the Realm of Chaos for this third instalment, the process of balancing the increasing number of Legendary Lords and Factions, as well the work that went into making the vast Immortal Empires map.

If you’re hungry for more behind-the-scenes info, then you’ll be happy to know that we’re sharing a previous episode of Deep Strike focused on the development of Total War: Warhammer, completely free for everyone to watch.

Finally, Ed is back at the Painting Desk with another Golden Demon winner as he chats to ’Eavy Metal painter Tom about his Crimson Fist Captain that took gold in the staff category in 2017, as well as a stack of other incredible miniatures he’s painted for White Dwarf, including a Blood Ravens Sergeant, an Isharann Tidecaster, and an Aeldari Corsair.

This week you can also watch the entirety of Kill Lupercal in a single sitting with the addition of the glorious supercut version – perfect if you want uninterrupted drama from the Siege of Terra. On top of that, an episode of Loremasters all about Titans is free to watch, so you can learn more about the types of god-engines that star in the animation.
