Sign up to Warhammer+ for a chance to win DK Warhammer books and watch three new shows

Last week we shared an excerpt from the upcoming book The Art of Warhammer Video Games for free on Warhammer Vault. It’s the latest in a series of licensed publications from our partners at DK, and this week we’re giving you the chance to win a whole bunch of their books.

All you need to do is sign up to Warhammer+ by the 30th of November, which will put you in a draw to win copies of The Art of Warhammer Video Games signed by Andy Hall, the Warhammer 40,000 Character Encyclopedia  – which includes a Lieutenant Titus miniature – signed by Wade from the Warhammer Studio, and Words of War: The Miniature Book of Space Marine Quotes. There are five sets of prizes to win. Terms and conditions apply.

We’ve got a selection of three new shows for Warhammer+ subscribers this week, too. Continuing our theme of video games and Warhammer 40,000, Deep Strike has Alex chat with Sarah from the Warhammer Studio and Oliver Hollis-Leick from Focus Interactive about Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. They cover the challenges of creating the game, the story of Titus, and the overwhelming reception Space Marine 2 has received since launch.

On How We Roll, Si catches up with David from the Warhammer Studio on how Crusade supplements are designed, using Crusade: Armageddon as the example. These narrative expansions give players a new way to engage with their games of Warhammer 40,000, focusing on a particular story or setting.

Also available today is the last episode of our current series of Ultimate Paint-off. Amber, Rick, Jon, and Emily are all competing across a series of challenges to be crowned the winner, and this week’s task includes matching a box art miniature in both style and colour. With an ’Eavy Metal painter judging them across four separate sub tasks, there’s loads of points on offer and everything to play for. We hope our contestants know their edge highlighting.

Access to the competition, the free extract from Warhammer 40,000 Character Encyclopedia, and all the episodes above are available as part of a Warhammer+ subscription. Signing up gets you access to a huge library of previous shows and animations, unlimited army building access on both the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar apps, and if you sign up for a whole year you also get to choose from one of two brilliant diorama miniatures.
