The new cover artwork for False Gods has been revealed! The Horus Heresy Saga is a curated collection of 12 novels that takes you from the earliest days of the Warmaster’s rebellion to the brink of the Siege of Terra, and now it’s time to take a first look at the second book in the series.

As you can see, it features Horus, supported by Abaddon, leading the speartip through the swamps on the moon of Davin. The Warmaster looks like he’s in complete control, and we’re sure nothing bad is about to happen to him...
This second novel, penned by Graham McNeill, follows Horus as he’s severely wounded and begins to fall under the corrupting influence of Chaos. The notorious Dark Apostle Erebus* reveals his true colours, and the seeds of treachery are well and truly sown.
The complete series covers some of the most important moments of the Horus Heresy, including the Isstvan V massacre, the Shadow Crusade, and the War in the Webway.

These novels have also been chosen as great jumping-off points for exploring the rest of the Heresy, so even readers with plenty of experience in the Age of Darkness will find them handy.
Each book features new artwork by Neil Roberts, and we’ll be showing off more covers as the novels come out. If you can’t wait and want to read your way through the series now, all of the eBooks and audiobooks are available via the new Black Library app.
