Wearing red? Coming from the sky? Knowing if you’ve been bad or good? It must be that special time! Yes, the Blood Angels are getting a new codex supplement. Today, we’re taking a look at it along with the rest of today’s pre-orders.
Noble of standing but carrying a dark curse, the Blood Angels are one of the most famous of all Space Marines Chapters. Now their new codex supplement makes them even better in your games of Warhammer 40,000 and represents the two sides of their nature like never before.
Codex Supplement: Blood Angels is packed with everything you need to use this legendary Chapter on the tabletop. Along with exciting lore, there are new rules, Stratagems, and a Crusade section that lets you build a narrative army and follow them as they fall prey to the Black Rage or fight to overcome it.
There are also bespoke rules for the Blood Angels’ successor Chapters, including Stratagems, Relics, and more for the vicious Flesh Tearers. The book is available as either a glorious hardback version or a stunning collector’s edition.
Also available are the Blood Angels datacards and dice. The datacards let you easily keep track of your Stratagems, psychic powers, and Death Visions in the heat of battle, even if you’re suffering from the Red Thirst. Speaking of Death Visions, you’ll be having nightmares of your own if you miss out on these amazing Blood Angels-themed dice.
If you’re inspired to start a brand-new Blood Angels army or are looking to add to an existing one, look no further than the Blood Angels Combat Patrol. As the name implies, this box contains a Combat Patrol-sized army and, if you decide to forgo the included Blood Angels upgrade sprues, the models can easily be used with other Space Marines armies.
Need more Blood Angels? Unleash the power of the Death Company with this new hybrid kit. It contains five Primaris Intercessors and a Blood Angels Primaris Upgrades sprue, making it easy to get these ferocious warriors onto the battlefield.
And as if all that wasn’t enough, the Assault Intercessors are here to dish out some deadly close support, too. These are the multipose versions of the awesome models that you’ve seen in the Warhammer 40,000 Elite Edition, and they come with stacks of options including helmets, bare heads, extra weapons for your sergeants, and more.
Also available for the Space Marines this week is the Gladiator tank. The new kit makes one of three models – the tank-hunting Valiant, the infantry-shredding Reaper, or the Lancer, which is perfect for picking off tough, high-value targets. It’s the first dedicated battle tank for the Primaris Space Marines, sacrificing all transport capacity for pure killing power.
With Christmas on the way, it’s time for this year’s Battleforce boxes. These packages are the perfect way to kick off a new army or to easily add some reinforcements to an existing one. They’re packed with a specially curated selection of units, making them the perfect gift for any of your friends – or yourself!
Of course, we couldn’t let Warhammer 40,000 have all of the Battleforce fun! These four new Warhammer Age of Sigmar boxes are perfect for existing fans of Ogor Mawtribes, Gloomspite Gitz, Disciples of Tzeentch, and Kharadron Overlords, or anyone looking to dip their toe into those factions for the first time.
If you want to look good while fielding your Blood Angels army, check out the range of new Blood Angels t-shirts. They’re so awesome that we’re sure that Sanguinius would wear one – if only they were available for people with enormous wings.*
You can also keep track of the passage of time in 2021 with these new Warhammer-themed calendars, regardless of how lost you might get in the warp.**
The Blood Angels, Battleforces, and the Space Marines reinforcements are available to pre-order now from games-workshop.com. Head there now to grab your pre-orders or pop into store next weekend to find them on the shelves.
