Sunday Preview: Y’all Ready for Hysh?

There’s all sorts of good stuff in store for you over the coming days – and today, we’re giving you a glimpse into what you can expect. To kick things off though, as always, here’s This Week In Warhammer with the highlights.

The Lumineth Realm-lords land!

First up, Teclis is here at last! Teased months ago, the greatest wizard the Mortal Realms has ever seen (sorry Nagash, you only know the one lore) is ready to shake up tabletops and painting stations around the world.

This epic model will be accompanied by the first of a couple of waves of Lumineth Realm-lords releases. Models previously only available in the Launch Set – The Light of Eltharion, Vanari Wardens, and Vanari Sentinels – will be available separately, perfect for reinforcing those Vanari phalanxes.

The Scinari Cathallar, meanwhile, is a vital support wizard AND a cracking project for any painter to try their hand at.

For those looking for the rules and lore for their Lumineth, the battletome will bring you all of that and will be available in ePub and hardback editions.

Don’t forget the extras! With summoned sorceries, invaluable warscroll cards and some rather exciting barrel-shaped D6s!

The Lumineth Realm-lords will be released alongside their very own Black Library novel, allowing you to delve further into the fascinating lore and stories these luminous aelves have to offer. Available in hardback, eBook, Kindle and audiobook editions, we can think of little better to keep you company while you paint your new collection.

Fancy something a little darker? We have just the thing…

The Crusade Begins!

That’s right! After a very long wait indeed, Book 9 of the legendary Horus Heresy campaign series is here. Crusade chronicles the bitter struggles of the Thramas campaign, as the Night Lords and Dark Angels fight for supremacy on the frontiers of the Imperium. With new rules, lore and more, it’s a must-have for all gamers in the 31st Millennium.

This book will be launching alongside Lion El’Jonson, ready to lead the First Legion to battle in the Age of Darkness. This stunning model has been a long time coming, with the Lion having been an iconic part of Warhammer since its very earliest days. With a choice of weapons, helmet options and a wealth of detail that brings this legendary knight of Caliban to life, it’s a must-have for all Dark Angels collectors.

More on Warhammer Community

Throughout next week, we’ll be bringing you previews, rules, guides and more, including a peek between the pages of the next White Dwarf and a new Community Painting Competition – if you haven’t done so already, get your entries in for last month’s “Ancient Evil” painting competition while you still have time! We’ve also got a raft of cracking content on Warhammer TV to keep you company while you build, paint and plan your next army.

Let us know what you’re looking forward to most on the Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Horus Heresy Facebook pages.
