More Exciting News from Spiel
Announcing the release date for Necromunda: Underhive and Gang War was just the beginning – there’s even more exciting news for hobbyists from Spiel. In short, 2018 is looking like an exciting year for hobbyists, with even more multipart plastic gangs on the way, more warbands for Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire and another team for Blood Bowl.
Firstly, we’re happy to officially announce that you won’t have long to wait before you can get your hands on the next two expansions for Shadespire. You can expect two new warbands, alongside a range of new cards that every faction can use, in the first quarter next year. In addition to these, we’ll be supporting the game competitively more than any other before. We’ve revealed how the Grand Clash works, but Shadespire will also make for a great competitive game on a local level, too.
Your local gaming store will be able to subscribe to two organised play packs, each full of prizes to reward the best players in your area, on both a monthly or a quarterly basis. These range from practical essentials every Shadespire player is going to want, like acrylic activation markers and the rather splendid looking Shadespire deck box, to trophies like Fighter and Ploy cards with alternative art – with these, you’ll be able to show your prowess wherever you take your deck. If you want your chance to win any of these prizes, encourage your local gaming store to subscribe to the Shadespire prize packs.
Meanwhile, in the world of Blood Bowl, another team will be joining the fray just in time for Christmas. Combining the talents of the Elvish races into one force, Elven Union teams are fast, well coordinated and insufferably arrogant, albeit mostly justifiably so! This multipart plastic kit is one of the most advanced for Blood Bowl so far, with modular face-masks allowing for great depth of customisation.
Finally, we’ve had loads of questions from Necromunda fans about when Delaque, Cawdor, Orlock and Van Saar will be joining Goliath and Escher in glorious plastic. We’re pleased to say that Necromunda: Underhive and Gang War will be but the first of many Necromunda releases. While Goliath and Escher will be available in their own boxes from day one, they’ll be followed by other Clan Houses, the first of which we’ll see in early 2018. If you’re eager to get stuck in straight away, make sure to like the Necromunda Facebook page for the latest news and updates about the game, and be sure to check out the Necromunda website.
