A pair of paperbacks from Black Library

This week’s new releases from Black Library comprise a pair of titles first released in hardback last year, now available in affordable paperback editions for those of you who prefer a more portable paper version of your reading material.

First up, we return to the Horus Heresy, and to the story of the White Scars. Chris Wraight continues the tale he began in ‘Scars’ as Jaghatai Khan and his warriors try to make the perilous journey to Terra in ‘The Path of Heaven’. After years of waging war against Horus’ traitors across the stars, it’s time to head home and make a stand on the Throneworld. But a gauntlet of enemies stands between the White Scars and their destination, the warp is on their foes’ side, and they are being hunted by the Warmaster’s own Sons of Horus. Is this the end for the Khan and his sons, or will they escape this perilous situation?Speaking of peril, imagine being a newly-minted Imperial Knight pilot, and having your allies devastated, being surrounded by ancient enemies of the Imperium, and having to work with another young Knight Errant to stop an unholy ritual, avenge the deaths of your comrades and save an entire world from the machinations of the Dark Gods. That’s the situation in ‘Kingsblade’, by Andy Clark, which sees two young Knights fighting to survive against impossible odds.
Both of these new paperbacks are available to order now from, or you can download the eBooks and read them now. And don’t forget that last week’s release, the hotly anticipated ‘Black Legion’ by Aaron Dembski-Bowden, is also available now in hardback, eBook and MP3 audiobook formats, plus the gorgeous Limited Edition, which has fewer than 1,000 copies remaining.
