Talons out!

The Talons of the Emperor march to war once more.

Those of you who have been following the narrative of the Warhammer 40,000 universe will have realised that some pretty seismic changes have been taking place of late in the Gathering Storm.

The latest of these is the increased activity seen among the Talons of the Emperor. These warriors have been an extremely rare sight on battlefields for the last 10,000 years, ever since the tragic events of the Horus Heresy. But with Primarchs striding across the galaxy again, the need for such warriors is evident. Making a dramatic appearance in the closing scenes of Rise of the Primarch, the Talons of the Emperor are a force to be reckoned with in the 41st Millennium.

There are 3 new box sets available to pre-order. The first, Talons of the Emperor is your army in a box. Squads of Adeptus Custodes and Sisters of Silence, complete with transports in the form of a Rhino and a Land Raider* and backed up with a fearsome Contemptor Dreadnought. This set also comes with codexes for both factions, so you can field a full force of these elite warriors in your games.

Also available, are box sets with each of the squads separately. These can be added into any Imperial force to lend some super-elite combat punch or the game’s best anti-psyker support.

If you already have an army of these guys (maybe from the Burning of Prospero box, or a Battle in the Age of Darkness army) you can get the two codexes separately as digital eBook downloads.

*The knowledge needed to create and maintain their more exotic transports from the age of the Horus Heresy having been long since forgotten or locked away.
